For security all our bi-folding doors are supplied with the latest high security-hook bolt and shoot-bolt locking systems for peace of mind so when closed the door provides an additional layer of security for your home.
Winter Warmer
During the colder months of the year a bifold door offers the opportunity to close off the conservatory from your lounge or kitchen. Even with background heating a conservatory can be a chilly place in the winter so the additional thermal barrier between the two rooms will help keep the main home warmer especially in the evenings.
Our standard Staycool toughened double glazing provides a very efficient 1.0 U-value which retains your generated heat in the winter but also helps to block UV rays.
Low Threshold
When installing a folding sliding door between the conservatory and the main home it is important to ensure the threshold of the door is minimised to ensure there are no trip hazards.
Our upvc and timber bifold door thresholds can be sunk into the floor as shown here to provide a flush fit and our aluminium bifolding doors also have an option of a 20mm low threshold which can be dropped into the floor to create a flush finish.
