Bifold Doors in Aluminium, uPVC & Timber
FD2U bifold doors are available in a choice of durable low maintenance aluminium or upvc profiles or for a more traditional appearance a full range of engineered hardwood folding doors is also available. All systems feature ultra slim sight lines to maximise the visible glass area allowing natural light to flood into the room and a choice of thresholds is offered to help you acheive the desired floor levels inside and outside your home.
Our bifolding doors are the perfect solution for separating your conservatory from your house. When installed in this situation the door not only secures the main house from the conservatory, but provides an additional insulation barrier during the colder months of the year.
Adding a folding sliding door to your home truly opens up your living space allowing natural light to flood in whilst providing the opportunity to bring the outside inside seamlessly merging your garden with your living space.
Choose from over 200 Colours
Our aluminium and timber bifold doors can be supplied in your choice of over 200 RAL colour paint finishes and you can even choose a dual colour option on our aluminium doors offering one colour outside and another on the inside.
Energy Efficient Glazing up to 0.8 u-value
All our made to measure aluminium bifolding doors are supplied with energy efficient argon gas filled low e toughened double glazed sealed units that meet current building regulations. We can also offer an upgrade to the new Cortizo Bifold-Plus door which offers super slim 110mm sightline and is available double glazed with an overall 1.4 u-value and also triple glazed to acheive 0.8 u-value.
High Security Locking
All FD2U bifold doors feature high security locking as standard. Traffic doors are fitted with hook bolt locking operated by lever handles(hardwood bifold shown) and are fitted with high security profile key cylinders for internal and external access. Configurations without traffic doors are fitted with internally operated shoot bolt locking to intermediate panels and do not have external handles.
Please note handle style may vary to that shown.
Cortizo fully weathered flush track for seamless floor levels
All our bifold doors are designed to provide slim sightlines ensuring maximum glass widths although the actual panel widths will depend on the configuration of the door and the product chosen.
We offer several different brands of aluminium bifold doors including the popular Visofold 1000 Slim with 122mm sightlines and the new Cortizo Bifold-Plus featuring 110mm sightlines and offering a superb 1.4 u-value standard double glazed or 0.8 u-value triple glazed.
For those seeking the 'Heritage steel look' we also have the Visofold 6000 range* with slimmer sightlines of just 94mm and horizontal astragal bars.
